Simi Valley, Ventura County
Sandstone ridges of the Santa Susana Mountains and the Simi Hills wall in Simi Valley on three sides. Rocky Peak Park on the eastern edge has trails among the boulders, and nearby Corriganville Park preserves the site of a movie ranch where hundreds of Westerns were filmed. The 118 freeway leaves the valley through Santa Susana Pass.
